Chrysler, W+K win Emmy.

Wieden + Kennedy just won the Emmy for the best commercial of 2011. (Third year in a row, which is staggering.) The spot, done for the Chrysler Corporation, is called "Born of Fire," and it celebrates three of Detroit's major contributions to the American landscape: cars (specifically, Chryslers), Eminem, and a steel-toed, sweat-stained commitment to work ethic. The spot was about 2 minutes long, probably cost a couple mil to produce, and will absolutely change the way you think about Detroit.
