According to Jack Marshall from digiday.com, businesses are blogging less. Can agencies be far behind?

The Z supports student design contest.
Intrinzic is always psyched to encourage young creative minds, and this partnership between the Reading Chamber of Commerce and area high schools is a classic example. Many thanks to our good friend, Chris Berger, of Advance Printing, for getting us involved.
Here's the story, as reported on cincinnati.com:
Intrinzic campaign addresses need for foster parents.
Some of the work we get to do is absolutely inspiring. For example, we recently partnered with Lighthouse Youth Services to launch the "Be the Somebody" program to recruit 100 new foster families to care for Greater Cincinnati's underserved kids. The campaign will include online, print, TV, radio, social, and a celebration event. We'll share the entire campaign later, but you can see the intro at www.bethesomebody.org. We'd also like to send a shout out to our photographer buddy Jonathan Willis (www.jonbob.com) who did a fantastic job helping us capture the imagery for the campaign.
I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours.
These days, everybody shares everything. We share our thoughts, our photos and our videos. And it all happens digitally. Do you remember how all this sharing got started?
Pondering the death of marketing.
"Marketing is dead" says Saatchi & Saatchi CEO
The chief executive of one of the world’s largest marketing groups has today declared that marketing and strategy are dead.
Vonderhaar honored by Entrepreneurship Institute.
The Z would like to offer sincere congratulations to Wendy Vonderhaar, Intrinzic's founder, for being named Distinguished Entrepreneur by Northern Kentucky University's Fifth Third Bank Entrepreneurship Institute. The recognition was given at the recent Castellini Foundation Master Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony. This award recognizes the most influential business leaders in the Greater Cincinnati, and we're proud that our boss is recognized among them. Go, Wendy.
The Z needs an exceptional writer.
Intrinzic, the world's coolest agency, seeks a writer to help us continue to be cool. We need someone that's comfortable in the digital space, as well as psyched about doing the traditional stuff. So, in order to get this job, you'll need experience in brand development, long-form print, and website content. PR experience is a definate plus as well. But most of all, you'll need to offer a legacy of creative thinking and collaborative problem solving to join us. If you're interested, send a resume and a few samples to Jeff Chambers at jeff@intrinzicinc.com and we'll get back to you.
Publishers unite to mine digital opportunity.
Here's an interesting update on one organization's shift from print to digital, as reported by Lucia Moses in the 4/04/2012 online issue of Adweek:
Next Issue Media, the e-reading joint venture formed by five major U.S. print publishers, is moving into formal launch mode with a new tablet newsstand, reading app and various pricing plans.
Hey, Mini-Cooper, why the review?
According to Andrew McMains of Adweek, Mini Cooper has narrowed their agency search to four.
The finalists in the brand’s U.S. review—which sources identified as Bartle Bogle Hegarty, The Via Agency, Fitzgerald + Co. and incumbent Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners—emerged from a group of six shops that Mini Cooper executives visited. The agencies that did not advance were Anomaly and McKinney.
