The Z seeks an office coordinator.
HERE YOU ARE. Another day at the Z. You’ve just landed our part-time office coordinator gig. That’s right, you’re responsible for coordinating and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Everyday I'm Mentoring.
Wednesday evening I joined Stacy Foster, Recruiter with Possible Worldwide and Steve Bowling, Talent Acquisition Specialist with LPK for AIGA’s Mentoring speaker series. This was the 3rd panel discussion hosted by AIGA's Mentoring Group and was focused on Interview Horror Stories. I'll be the first to say there were quite a few funny ones...
The Z Lives United.
We’re all about our community. In fact, we believe there hasn’t been better, more promising time to live in Cincinnati. Perhaps it’s this budding optimism—paired with our enduring commitment to giving back—that drove our United Way campaign this year. We're proud to report that Intrinzic placed #13 in the Live United 100 list for the Greater Cincinnati area. The ranking is based on the highest per capita giving companies with 10 to 500 employees and a minimum combined giving of $10,000. We look forward to even more progress in our great city.
The Mighty.
Last Friday Laura (my wife), Greg (proud Z AE), Lindsey (Greg's wife), and I spend the evening listening to Rob Warnick's band The Mighty. They played an energizing set at MOTR Pub located in OTR, Cincinnati's arts & culture district.
Our friend Benjamin.
Today a few Z's (Darlene, Tina, Greg and I) headed to the local Skyline for lunch. Little did we know during our visit we'd meet the next Billy Mays. Well not really, but we did meet Benjamin. I'm proud to say he was quite the natural salesman!
He was a wise little guy, he approached our table asking us if we liked dogs... who doesn't like dogs!? By that time he already had us, it wasn't more than 15 seconds and we were drawing dogs, cat, and doodling in his book! Benjamin was visiting Skyline from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for a wedding. I hope you and your family had fun!
Z Lagerhouse.
Many of you already know, but for those of you who do not, yesterday was opening day for Christian Moerlein’s Lagerhouse. Naturally, a few Z’s wandered over during lunch to enjoy sunshine, some fine brews, and the opening day hustle and bustle. The Lagerhouse is located between Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium in the heart of The Banks.
Ruth Lyons - A no-nonsense kinda gal.
I’m not much of a “primetime” TV kinda guy but last night I remembered WLWT was premiering the Ruth Lyons Documentary. So, I flipped to 1005, (WLWT HD) and continued about my night. In less than 5 minutes I was glued to the TV. I found Ruth’s documentary was a success from the start – it captured everything that appeals to me, Cincinnati, Advertising and an authentic storyline.
The Z infiltrates OTR for night of killer art.
As many of you know, last Friday was Ink Bleeds 3. It was arguably one of the best Cincinnati creative community events this year. We’re allowed to start that rumor, heck, we teamed up with AIGA Cincinnati to make Ink Bleeds 3 happen!
