Growing Sound’s business goal was almost as ambitious as their mission. By taking their local not-for-profit to the major mass level as a national brand, they hoped to help children’s learning and development across the country. After analyzing the marketplace, we fashioned an imaginative brand centered around the ‘Lil Half-Note’ identity. Then, we put an unexpected idea to task to develop the brand architecture. Our team created the “Growing Sound Garden,” a graphic world that allows the overall essence of the brand to grow from its quarter-note marshes and xylophone footpaths. The Positive Skyscape and Resilient Forest became the hubs for distinct lines of products that developed specific emotional benefits. The packaging, website, and sales materials were natural extensions of these inventive worlds.
